Trump’s Ratings on Ukraine Tumble to Biden Levels

• Just 29% of voters now say President Trump’s handling of the situation in Ukraine has been Good or Excellent, while 47% rate it as Poor.
  • That’s a far cry from the 40% who said Good or Excellent and the 31% who said Poor in our last survey in September of 2025.
  • Those numbers are similar to Biden’s rating in January 2024 (28% Good/Excellent, 40% Poor).
  • Just 28% of Traditional GOP voters give the president positive marks, compared to 72% of Trump-policy voters.
• A solid majority (57%) say we should support Ukraine over Russia, while 28% say we should support Neither.
  • Just 6% say we should support Russia.
• This may be partly due to the fact that 47% of voters think Russia and Iran are allies.
  • Just 23% say they are not.
• Still, nearly 6 in 10 (57%) continue to say that it is more important to keep the U.S. out of a wider war with Russia than to help Ukraine, while just 35% disagree.
  • More than 7 in 10 Republicans (72%) say we should keep the U.S. out of a wider war.
  • Democrats are more divided: 50% prioritize helping Ukraine, while 40% say keeping the U.S. out of a wider war is more important.

This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, June 3-4, 2026. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
