Tom Zawistowski: Congress Must Subpoena Biden, His Medical Records in Wake of Cancer Diagnosis

Tom Zawistowski, president of the Ohio-based We the People Convention, called on Congress to subpoena former President Joe Biden and all of his medical records from the time he was commander in chief in wake of Sunday’s announcement that the former president was diagnosed with an “aggressive” form of prostate cancer last week.

On Sunday, Biden’s personal office released a statement announcing that the former president was diagnosed days earlier with “prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone.”

Noting the severity of Biden’s diagnosis, Zawistowski questioned the White House’s handling of the former president’s medical condition and the competence or integrity of the medical professionals involved.

Zawistowski said if Biden’s prostate cancer was found to be overlooked during his presidency, the medical professionals and others involved should be held accountable.

“I want every one of the doctors, anyone that was involved with his healthcare, to be subpoenaed immediately. We want all of the records from Walter Reed and wherever else they did testing. We want all of those records now. These people need to be held accountable. Either A, they are totally incompetent, or B, they are totally corrupt, but either way, they should face charges,” Zawistowski said on Monday’s edition of The Michael Patrick Leahy Show.

Zawistowski demanded that Congress subpoena Biden himself to testify about the use of the autopen for signing executive orders, arguing that if the former president was unaware at the time of these actions, the orders should be considered “null and void,” and those responsible should also face consequences.

“I want Comer and I want the Speaker of the House to subpoena Joe Biden and say we need to have him come and testify in front of Congress as to what he knew about every executive order that was signed by the autopen. I want him on the stand because this is all garbage, and the people who used the autopen without his knowledge are traitors. They need to be charged to the full extent of the law…I want them to be held accountable,” Zawistowski said.

“I want Joe Biden on the stand telling us what he knew about these autopen documents and if he can’t say what was in those things that he supposedly approved, they are null and void,” he added.

In response to narratives from Democratic leaders and pundits attempting to garner sympathy for Biden due to his diagnosis, Zawistowski dismissed the efforts as manipulative, further stressing that Biden must be held to the same standards as any other public official.

“We demand accountability. I want him to be held accountable,” he said.

Zawistowski described the situation as “the biggest disgrace in the history of our country.”
