Sunny Hostin Says Harris Being Interviewed By Joe Rogan Would Help Her With Men Voters

“The View” co-host Sunny Hostin said on Tuesday that Vice President Kamala Harris’ possible interview with prominent podcaster Joe Rogan will help her earn more support among male voters.

Harris is reportedly in talks about joining Rogan’s podcast, “The Joe Rogan Experience,” and has agreed to sit down for an exclusive interview with Fox News anchor Bret Baier on Wednesday. Hostin said Rogan’s largely male and Republican audience will help her in the polls as she has notably lagged with men.

“It makes sense because she’s going to be everybody’s president, and so you have to speak to everyone and I think, again, just run this flawless campaign,” Hostin said. “If you look at Joe Rogan, he’s got the number one podcast in the country and then you start to think, well , it’s men. She has a problem with men, there are many men who don’t want to vote for her. Now half of Rogan’s fans identify as Republican, but half didn’t vote for Donald Trump in 2020. So there is an opening for Kamala, there’s an opening for Democrats to communicate with that 48% of men who don’t like that choice and I’ll say this, a quarter of his fans are Hispanic. And we know she’s also having that problem with Hispanic men and so, well they’re having problems with her.”

A New York Times/Siena College poll found Trump with a 51% to 40% advantage among male voters while Harris holds a 53% to 38% advantage among women voters. In Arizona, 51% of Latino men between the ages of 18 and 34 support Trump, while 39% support Harris, according to a USA Today/Suffolk University poll from Oct. 7.

The former president also holds a 57% advantage among Latino men ages 35-49, while 37% support Harris, according to the poll.

Harris is currently leading among young black men by a historically low 41%, dropping significantly from President Joe Biden’s 53% in 2020 and former President Barack Obama’s 81% in 2012, CNN senior data reporter Harry Enten said on Monday. Obama suggested during a campaign stop Thursday that some black men may be hesitant to vote for Harris because she is a woman.

Trump has recently taken the lead among white women by 2 points after Harris held a six-point advantage among that voter bloc in September.
