Only 46% Think It’s a Good Time to Look for a Job

• Not quite half of voters (46%) think it is a good time to be looking for a job. This aligns with new numbers the New York Fed put out.
  • Almost the same number of voters (45%) think it’s a bad time.
• When asked a similar question at a more personal level, 63% of voters think it is difficult for someone who has been laid off to find a good job.
  • Only 28% think it is not difficult to find a good job right now if someone is laid off.
• 29% of voters think that businesses are hiring where they live.
  • Thirty-two percent (32%) say that businesses are laying off.
