Only 41% Believe Government Costs and Regulations Are Worth the Reward
- Forty-one percent (41%) of voters believe that the benefits that the government offers are worth the costs and regulations.
- Republicans are split evenly, with 37% saying it is worth it and 38% saying it is not.
- A plurality of Democrats (49%) say it is worth it, while 32% say it is not.
- Ironically, half (49%) of government workers say the benefits are not worth the costs.
- This is the highest number among any measured employment group.
