One Third Say COVID Impact on Physical and Mental Health Is Still Very Serious

• Large majorities of voters say COVID still has a serious impact on our lives today.
  • Significant portions call the effect Very Serious.
• One third of voters say the impact of COVID is still Very Serious on the areas of Physical Health (33%) and Mental Health (32%).
  • On both topics, roughly two thirds say there is still the impact is at least Somewhat Serious.
• Meanwhile, one quarter of voters say COVID still has a Very Serious effect on Education (25%) and Social Interactions (24%).
  • Approximately 6 in 10 voters say the impact is still Somewhat Serious on these areas today.
• One in five voters (21%) say Covid still has a Very Serious effect on Family Relationships today.
  • Overall, half (50%) of voters say Some Impact can still be felt.
• There is significantly less worry about the lingering impact on Religious Observance, with 14% of voters rating the current impact as Very Serious, and 21% rating it as Somewhat Serious.
• When it comes to the current impact of COVID, Democrats are significantly more likely to say it is still being felt than Republicans.
  • The only area measured where this was not true was in Religious Observance, which included an even split.

This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, January, 28-29, 2026. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
