On 2 of Top 3 Issues, Trust in Both Parties Down

• On two of the top three issues for voters, Republicans and Democrats have both lost ground this month.
  • Currently, 37% say they trust Republicans more on the Economy down 6 points from last month.
  • Almost one third (29%) trust Democrats more, also down a point.
  • Meanwhile, 11% trust Both Parties Equally, and 15% trust Neither.
  • On the second most important issue for voters – inflation – Republicans have lost 2 points, while the Democrats again lost a point.
• As the Iran war lingers on, National Security has risen to the third top issue; here, the Republicans have a 16-point advantage, with 45% trusting them more than Democrats (who are at 29%).
• In contrast, Democrats lead Republicans on other issues.
  • Democrats have an 16-point edge on Healthcare, 44% to 28%.
  • They also lead by 11 points on Education, 41% to 30%.
• On all issues, 10% to 18% said they trust Neither party, including these issues:
  • Climate Change (18%)
  • Inflation (16%)
  • Economy (15%)

This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, March 25-26, 2026. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
