Just 1 in 3 Seniors Say It’s Very Likely They’ll Receive All Social Security

• Just 33% of current seniors consider it Very Likely they will receive all their social security benefits.
  • They are (unsurprisingly) the most optimistic age bracket.
• While 72% of seniors say it is at least Somewhat Likely they will receive all their benefits, far fewer voters 55-64 agree (55%).
  • Voters from 35 to 54 believe it is not likely they will receive all their benefits.
• Nearly 2 in 3 voters (63%) who talk politics daily say it is Very Likely they will receive all benefits, with another 25% considering it Somewhat Likely.
  • Republicans are more confident than Democrats.
  • Over 6 in 10 Republicans (62%) say it is likely they will receive all their benefits.
  • Just half (49%) of Democrats agree.
• Both parties agree on the importance of Social Security; 72% consider it Very Important to protect social security and Medicare.
  • That is equal in importance to the latest sentiments on the economy (71%) and inflation (70%).

This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, June 1-2, 2026. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
