In Their Own Words: Iran Stays Most Important Issue; Economy Number 2

• The war in Iran continues to overshadow concerns about the Economy as the most important issue for voters.
  • When asked to respond in their own words, 30% of voters mention Iran (15%), Foreign Policy (11%), or War (4%).
  • As other issues crowd voter concerns, the Economy ranking is 25%, which is the same as last week and up 2 points from 2 weeks ago.
  • Immigration (10%) and Politics (10%) are also commonly at the top of voters’ minds.
  • For Republicans, the top three issues identified as most important were Iran + Foreign Policy + War (29%), the Economy (27%), and Immigration (17%).
  • For Democrats, the top issues were Iran + Foreign Policy + War (31%), the Economy (23%), and Politics (11%).
