Half say local school boards or individual schools should make decisions on phones in class

• Half (50%) of all voters say that local school boards or individual schools should make decisions about whether students are allowed to use cell phones in class.
• While voters say they are supportive of cell phone bans, 56% say it is more important to let students have cell phones in case of emergency than it is to keep cell phones out of classrooms.
