Generic Ballot: Dem 44%, GOP 43% – Dems Also More Enthusiastic

• If the election were held today, 44% of registered voters say they would vote for the Democrat from their district, and 43% say they would vote for the Republican.
  • When leaners are included, the results are even with Democrats and Republicans at 46%.
  • Republicans had the advantage for several months, but results have gone up and down for the past few months, and D’s were up by 1 point in January.
• Among those Very Enthusiastic about voting in the Congressional elections this year, Democrats lead Republicans 49% to 40%.
  • Those who are Very Enthusiastic are most likely to turn out and cast a ballot.
  • Among voters who prefer Trump-like policies, 47% are Very Enthusiastic, but more voters who prefer AOC-like policies (51%) are Very Enthusiastic.
  • Among those who prefer more traditional Republican policies, just 27% are Very Enthusiastic.
  • An overwhelming majority (87%) of postgraduate voters are enthusiastic about voting, with 55% being Very Enthusiastic.
  • The largest majority (78%) of Very Enthusiastic voters are those who talk politics every day or almost daily.
