Economy Remains Top Issue, Immigration at Second Place

• Given a list, 30% of voters still rate the Economy as the most important political issue right now.
  • Among 1,000 registered voters, Immigration (15%), Inflation (14%), and Healthcare (12%) also rank highly.
  • National Security (9%), Climate Change (5%), Crime (4%), Abortion (4%), Gun Laws (3%), and Education (3%) are less commonly at the top of voters’ minds.
  • For Republicans, the top three issues identified as most important are the Economy (32%), Immigration (20%), and National Security (14%).
  • For Democrats, the top three issues are the Economy (29%), Inflation (17%), and Healthcare (14%).
• A strong majority of voters (80%) said that the Economy is Very Important.
  • Seventy-one percent (71%) said that Inflation is Very Important.
  • Another 71% said that Healthcare is Very Important.

  • Consistently, in the open-ended format , economic issues are the top issues.
