Charlevoix County Woman Faces Charges for Allegedly Stealing Political Signs
WALLOON LAKE, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Police in Charlevoix County arrested a woman for allegedly stealing political campaign signs from a residence near Walloon Lake last month.
Officials say another resident witnessed the alleged theft on September 6. They say the four signs stolen have been recovered, including one representing a presidential candidate, a U.S. Senate candidate, a Michigan House candidate, and one local candidate.
The woman faces larceny charges when she is arraigned on Oct. 18.
