68% Would Vote to Replace Congress

  • If voters could vote to keep or replace the entire Congress, 68% say they would vote to replace the entire Congress.
    • This is up 7 points from October 2022.
    • Today and in 2022, just 13% say they would vote to keep the entire Congress.
    • Nineteen percent (19%) are not sure.
    • Nearly 8 in 10 Democrats (78%) would opt to replace the entire Congress, but so would a strong majority (60%) of Republicans.
    • Voters who talk politics every day are twice as likely (26%) to vote to keep the entire Congress.
  • If a group of citizens was randomly selected (one from each Congressional District), 54% say such a group of randomly selected American citizens do a better job than the current Congress.
    • Just 19% disagree and say the citizens would not do a better job.
    • One quarter (26%) are not sure.
    • Notably, Republicans and Democrats have similar views.

This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, June 8-9, 2026. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
