63% Will Watch the Super Bowl This Weekend
- Sixty-three percent (63%) of voters plan to watch the Super Bowl this weekend.
- A large majority (78%) of voters who talk politics every or nearly every day plan to watch the game.
- Only about half (54%) of voters over 65 plan to watch the game.
- More voters in high-density areas (74%) plan to watch the game compared to 56% in low-density areas.
- Among those who plan to watch the game, 56% say the Seattle Seahawks will win, and 35% say the New England Patriots will win.
- For those who will watch the game, 30% are more interested in the commercials than the actual game.
- The other viewers (69%) say they’re more interested in the game itself.
- These numbers are similar to last year’s numbers (28% for commercials and 70% for the game).
- More women who will be watching the game (41%) than men (20%) are more interested in the game.
- Among all voters, only 34% watch NFL football just about every week during the regular season.
- This is down 4 points from the 38% who said they watched NFL football just about every week in February 2025.
- One quarter (24%) rarely or never watch it, and 22% occasionally watch it.


This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, February 4-5, 2026. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
