52% Are Able to Save This Month, But Less Paying Off Credit Cards
- Half of voters (52%) say they can set aside money for savings, while 44% say all their money goes to living expenses.
- Both numbers are the same as 2 weeks ago and a month ago.
- In April, just 43% said they could set aside money, while it hit a peak of 53% in September.
- Forty-seven percent (47%) of voters say they would need to cut back on their lifestyle to make a surprise expense of $1,000.
- This is the same as two weeks ago but up 2 points from a month ago.
- In late July, a high of 51% said they would have to cut back.
- Meanwhile, the number who could make the surprise payment without cutting back (48%) is down 2 points from a week ago and 4 points from a month ago.
- Forty-seven percent (47%) of voters say they paid off their credit cards in full.
- This is down 2 points from the 49% seen 2 weeks ago and down 6 points from 53% a month ago.
- Forty-three percent (43%) say they had to make partial payments.

This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, November 3-4, 2025. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
