36% Favor Trump Remaining as Board of Peace Chairman After Presidency

With President Trump being the first chairman of the Board of Peace that he created, 36% of voters at least Somewhat Favor this idea of Trump being the chairman of the Board of Peace after he leaves office.
- Half (50%) of registered voters oppose the idea that he remain as chairman even after he is no longer President of the United States. In this number, 36% Strongly Oppose.
- Fifteen percent (15%) are Not Sure.
- Three in 5 Republican voters (60%) favor Trump remaining as chair after he is no longer president.
- Not surprisingly, 74% of Democratic voters oppose Trump remaining as chair after his presidency.
- Within the Republican party, different opinions appear: 76% of Trump-policy voters favor Trump being the chairman after his presidency, but only 33% of GOP Republicans feel the same.

This data is from a Napolitan News Service survey of 1,000 Registered Voters conducted online by Scott Rasmussen, February 23-24, 2026. RMG Research, Inc., conducted the field work for the survey. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.1.
